Are ‘relaxed’ and ‘greatly matters’ correctly used in this sentence? Should I say ‘life’ or ‘lives,’ ‘studies’ or ‘education’?

It is not bad to be relaxed sometimes and be happy with our (life / lives) as students, but we still need to pay attention to what greatly matters, especially our studies / education.
