Are or Is

Hi

I am trying to write a poster, notifying staff of the next nurse and practice meetings. I have written: "The next nurse meeting and practice meeting are scheduled for [date]". Should it be 'is'? I understand the singular and plural, but I'm unsure which to use because I've written meeting for each and not 'meetings'.

Many thanks

Is it one combined meeting (nurse and practice meeting) or are there two different meetings, one for nurses and one for practice? If it is one meeting, your sentence needs to be clearer.

If you are referring to two meetings, use "are". As AStars said above, your sentence is not clear.
