Are my sentences correct?

1. You have not called me even once in last one month. But finally you called today. Thank you so much for making yourself free/available today and calling me over the phone despite you are busy.

2. My brother cares for me a lot.

3. In information technology field always new technologies come. You have to keep up to date with the latest technologies if you want to survive in this field.
