Are my sentences correct?

Question

You are ought to address this problem. I will need to prompt my customer to have the fixed schedule to be prolonged because of the wrongly delivered component from you. Without it, i cannot make a progress on the project. I will coax them into delaying the schedule by 1 week by giving some free parts. Do you think this proposal would go over well?

Without it the correct item ( or part, component, materials, etc.), I cannot make a progress on the project. I will try to coax them into delaying the schedule by 1 one week by giving them some free parts. Do you think this proposal would go over well?

Why is 'prompt' improper in the sentence?
For 'to have the fixed schedule to be prolonged..', why is this incorrect? Is the sentence grammartically incorrect?

Prompt can mean cause someone to do something, or cause something to happen. It can also mean remind someone to do something that they know they are supposed to do. (A related sense is remind an actor of his lines).
In normal usage, "I will need to prompt my customer to....." tends to suggest the remind sense, so it would sound as though you are going to remind your customer to do something that he knew he should do, but has not.
What you are saying is "Your mistake is going to ruin the schedule I had prepared with my customer, and I will now have to discuss the problem with my customer and prepare a new (and less convenient) schedule." In this context another word or phrase such as persuade, or arrange with, or work out with would fit better than prompt.
"....to have the fixed schedule to be prolonged..." is grammatically incorrect (NB, no second r in grammatically).
I suggested replacing prolonged because it often carries the sense of made longer than it should have been. "Her illness was prolonged by her refusal to follow her doctor's instructions." "The trial was prolonged by the lawyer's frivolous motions."
Extend in this context would suggest allow more time for. "Due to the unexpected problems, he agreed to extend the deadline for the completion of the work."
You could use a word like alter, modify, adjust, amend, change or rewrite in your sentence. I suggested extend to maintain the emphasis on the idea of the problem caused by the supplier's mistake.

Thank you very much for your detailed explanation.I actually used 'prompt' in such a way that 'cause someone to do something'. I do not understand why the sentence sounds like 'remind'. how should I use 'prompt' if I want to use it as cause and remind respectively? Could you explain both of usages?

In actual usage, you find prompt meaning cause to do something or cause something to happen in contexts like:
"The burglary next door prompted him to order a security system"
"I don't know what prompted her to quit her job and travel around the world."
"This accident will undoubtedly prompt a review of our safety policies."
It usually seems to be based on an event, rather than a person, doing the prompting.
In normal usage, when prompt is used in a context involving one person prompting another, it implies the sense of remind.
"She prompted him to mail a gift for his nephew's birthday."
In your context of prompt my customers it just isn't the right word, unless they had already agreed to do something and had not done it. You could use persuade them, ask them, get them to agree, get them to approve, work out with them, request them, convince them, etc,

1) The prolongled project will prompt the customer to put squeeze on us to catch up with the planed schedule. We need to work with them to extend the schedule by three more days to the 3rd of May.

2) You need to prompt me to hook up the electric wire onto the socket.

1) The ~~prolongled~~ prolonged project will prompt the customer to put a squeeze on (or to pressure or to put pressure on) us to catch up with the planned schedule. We need (or will need) to work with them to extend the schedule by three more days to the 3rd of May. Yes, prompt would work here.

2) You need to prompt me to hook up the electric wire onto the socket. You could say this, but you would probably use remind unless you wanted to hook up the wire at a specific moment.
If you use Prompt me it implies remind me to perform this particular action at exactly the moment I should perform this action.
Remind me could involve a specific time if the context demands it, or it could be general: Before we leave, remind me to reconnect the wire.
