Are my answers correct???? Please check

HI EVERYONE,


Next to the text you can find my answers of which I don't know if they are correct!!!! Please tell me if you find any mistakes!


I have to fill in the following gaps or form the right TENSE with the verbs given in the brackets...


Here are the questions: (a dialog)


T...... Tom , A.... Ann,


T: ........I speak to Ann, please? ---> "Can" (?)


A: Ann (speak). ---> "speaking" (?)


T: Tom here. Where you (be) Ann? I (try) to reach you for the last half hour. You (not leave) your office at 5.00? ---> have you been; don't you leave (?)


A: Yes, I ..., but today I (go) to the dentist and only just (get) in. It (be) lovely to hear your voice, Tom. I (not know) you (be) in London.---> went; got; is; didnt know;


T: I only (arrive) this morning. I (ring) you before but I (be) terribly bury all day covering a conference. It only just (end). You (do) anything tonight, Ann?--> arrived; rang; was; ended; Are you doing;


A: Yes, I (go) to the theatre.--> am going


T: That (be) a pity. I (be) here for one night.---> is, will be


A: I (be) sorry, Tom. If you (tell) me you were coming up, I (keep) the evening free. But you didn't tell me. ---> am; told; would have kept;


T: I (not know) myself till this morning when the boss suddenly (dash) into the office and (tell) me to rush up here to cover the conference. --->didn't know; dashed; told;



A: I thought Peter usually (do) the conferences.---> does


T: Yes, he (do) but when he (drive) up here last night he (have) an accident and (take) to hospital. So I (do) it instead. Ann, you really (go) out tonight...(neg. interr) you get out of it? ---> does; drove; had; was taken; did; going;


A: No, I....(neg.). I'm free tomorrow but I (suppose) that (be) too late.-----> ??? ; suppose, will be



T (suddenly changing his plans): No, I (stay) another day, I daresay the boss (get) over it. You (like) to meet me for dinner tomorrow? ----> will stay; will get: would you like;


A: That (be) wonderful! But Tom, you (be) sure it (be) all right? ---> would be; are you sure it is going to be all right


T: It (be) all right. I (ring) the boss and tell him I (stay) another night. I (stay) an extra night in York last month and he (not seem) too put out about it.---> will be; will rang; am going to stay; stayed; didn't seem


A: Why you (stay) an extra night in York?---->did you stay


T: I (tell) you tomorrow. Goodnight, Ann. ---> will tell
