Are much better.

Is it wrong to use "Are much better" in a sentence? Someone said to me that it's wrong grammar.
Example: MONTEFALCO COUSINS AND ELIZALDE BROTHERS ARE MUCH BETTER.

Ahm, My friend and I argue about fictional characters and I'm a devotee of those two, The Montefalco cousins and the Elizalde brothers, so I said that they are much better. Anyway, Thanks for your answer and I appreciate it a lot!
