Are ‘in prayer,’ ‘just to bring,’ and ‘anytime soon’ correctly used in these sentences?

I knew the only thing I could do was to talk to God in prayer. That night I told Him in prayer that I’d change my ways just to bring my mother back. For a few days, nothing happened, but I wasn’t losing hope anytime soon.
