Are 'hard/difficult,' 'far from being,' and 'name' correctly used in the sentences? Should I say 'made' or 'done'?

Winnie won in a national writing contest. She found it hard/difficult to remember what I she had written, but all she knew was that she was far from being a winner. When her name was called, she was really surprised. She even asked herself if she had really (made, done) it.
