Are "go see it " and " go to see it" the same meaning?

Are "go see it " and " go to see it" the same meaning? Can we use the word " go "in front of a verb ? For instance, when saying "I will buy some milk later," can i also say either " i will go to buy some milk later " or " I will go buy some milk later."?
