Are 'found,' and 'under the guidance' correctly used in the sentences?

Alex and Allan are my university students who underwent four-day leadership training in Cambodia. They found the morning of the last day of the training a stressful one when, under the guidance of a Cambodian official, they worked out an annual plan of activities for their school.
