Are final exams necessary?
my teacher gave me a task to write an essay (about 140 words. ) on the subject above.

Every year, thousands of High School students are taking their final exams. These exams influence the way that the future of these sixteen and seventeen years old students will look like. In my opinion these exams are unnecessary.
First of all, these exams causing stress to the students. All the exams are held in one month. The pressure on the students is huge. The kids come exhausted to the exams and that is why they don't give their best performance.
Secondly, after twelve years of learning, in which you get many different grades in one subject, one exam will decide what's your grade is going to be. These exams can make or break a grade which is not fair.
I believe that the final exams test pupil's memory and not pupils understanding and knowledge. The exams have great importance and they should reflect the reality.
