"Brief" as an adjective is neither the same as or the opposite of "details."

"Brief" as a noun is not, either.

Were you comparing the adjectives brief and detailed? They are somewhat related.

Brief: short, succinct, summarized. Not lengthy, without elaboration
Detailed: having many details, usually lengthy and elaborated.
