The drunk man trips and falls off the roof of the skyscraper -- People scream, watching the drunk man skydive. / People scream as the drunk man skydives.

Hi. I'm writing a script. How would you write the emboldened sentence? Are any of my two suggestions good? (note: 'skydive' is used for comedic effect.)
