Are all verbs possible in this sentence?

Children in this country are expected to follow the paths their children

(1) have decided for them.
(2) have paved for them
(3) have laid out for them
(4) have chosen for them

Oh, I am really sorry for the mistake. I meant to say the following.

Children in this country are expected to follow the paths their parents
(1) have decided for them. (2) have paved for them (3) have laid out for them (4) have chosen for them

#2 is different from the other three. 'Paved' means 'done before', but the parents have not pursued the paths of their children.

Ok:) Thank you for your answers. What (2) suggests is different from what I intended. I'd go with (3) and (4).
