The other one asks why?

Does "are about spiders" mean "are fascinated with spiders"?

He’ll be in and out with his amo, amas, amat, and his quadratic equations - I'm not sure what she's trying to say here. She didn't want to teach older pupils but only Juniors and she didn't want to be a head of school ...
