Approved or Approve in Process flows?

I am confuse to use the 'Verb' Approved or Approve when I am writing process flow in "Decision box" should ask 'Approved' or 'Approve' for doing:

- Yes

- No

It depends. The possibilities for the yes/no question are:

1. Do you approve? (Check yes or no)

2. Is it approved? (Check yes or no)

The green diamond shapes are decision points. If you want question 1 above, write "Approve?" in the shape.
If you want question 2, write "Approved?"

In my experience, such boxes represent a decision that must be made.

I used to draw a diamond-shaped box, and write Approve? in it. Then two paths leading out of the box would represent Yes and No.
