Appropriate word...

Hi,
What do you call a person who always wants permissions to do his/her work?
Also, are the words allowance and permission synonymous?
Thanks in advance.

Could you explain a bit more what you mean by "always wants permissions to do his/her work"? Do you mean someone who doesn't have the confidence to do things on their own initiative?

Something like that, I mean like some teenagers who always asks their parents for permission for leaving the house or something like this.

I call that respectful, but I don't think that's what you mean.

deferential

More derogatory:

fawning
obsequious
