Appropriate usage of words
This won't fetch the sad sheen from your eye
Your heed is hard to occupy
Is it OK to use expression "fetch the sad sheen" (it's kind of metaphor) in first line if I mean to say "cause eyes to fill with tears"? Can I use a word "heed" in such way in the second line? Thank you.
