Appropriate usage of commas.

Teachers,

Are the two commas used correctly? And, is my sentence making sense?

Horse Guards Parade is a large open space in London at the centre of Whitehall, where spectacular royal ceremonies are held, the most famous being the Changing of the Guards which takes place every morning.

I have to spell 'centre' this way, as I am dealing with the English. Emotion: smile

Thanks,
