Hi
My friend texted me : Hey, I bought a new phone.
Me : haha really?? (it was something very unlikely because I thought she wouldn't buy one) You always make me laugh!
Friend : I knew that would grab you Hee Hee
Me : Yeah, you did. You did.
So I know my response was not appropriate.
If I said "Yeah, it did. It did." (It did surprise me!) would that be the correct grammar?
I can't be sure so...
