Appositive clause and noun clause.

hi,

could you please help me ?

can a sentence with an appositive clause be separated into two sentences?
like this:

a) i've heard the news that they will get married next year.

..into:

b) they will get married next year. i've heard the news.

and also, could you please recommend me some sources about appositive clause on the internet?

Thanks.
