Appointment + Catch

Hi all

Is it correct to say: catch the appointment or meeting

I know we can say something like: catch the train (physical thing)

I've noticed i'm using this expression for one year, I'm not sure if it is correct or not. hehehe

And what is better to say: I'm so late for/to my appointment

Regards

Thanks Clive

That's too bad to know I'm using an incorrect expression, for long time.

So instead of saying catch the appointment we have to use something like:

I have to be there on time/I have got to be there on time

I think its more correct.

Not quite -- it's "That's what life is all about -- learning."

It is correct as long as it is considered ultra slang otherwise not correct.
