Appointed vs authorised

Hi there,
I need help regarding translation:
which one is better:
appointed representative
or
authorized representative

what is the difference? Is there any other option of saying that a company is a official representative of another company?

Many thanks,

Bepina

Hi, Of your two suggestions, the very common term is 'authorized representative". If you really want to find another term, you could look at the word 'agent'. Best wishes, Clive
