Applying for University - translate the disciplines I've done. HELP!!!

Discipline: Brazil and the United States: history, intellectual itineraries and political culture in institutions building.

The purpose of this course is to compare the historical turning point that took place in the process of independence and the subsequent tasks in which they were involved Brazil and the United States.
The development of national dynamics, in a sense, was supported by the stock of ideas, perceptions, justifications and institutional apparatuses available and designed, which were formulated by the relevant actors in melee by the power struggle and a certain vision of the imagined community .
