Applying

During my job hunting, I was busy doing research, networking, and applying.

Is the above sentence correct?
Do you think it is fine to say "applying" alone? Can it stand on its own without adding something like "for a job"?

I would very appreciate your input on this.

Hi, During my job hunting, I was busy doing research, networking, and applying. Is the above sentence correct? Yes, although of course you need a context in which it makes sense to say that.

Hi,

I suppose you might say it in answer to such a question. I'd try to concentrate a bit more on the apsect of 'researching', ie of increasing your knowledge of this particular area of business.
