Apply principles/science onto

There's this social scientist who wrote a paper on the applicability of Quantum Physics onto the realms of feminism, or something along that line. She claimed that we can apply the principles of quantum physics onto the realm of every day life. It's absolute nonsense, but she still gets her research funded by the government somehow.

Not sure if this construction is grammatical.
