Application of If clasuse

If a negative settlement range exist, to* convince the seller to reduce her resistance point to create a positive settlement range or *to change his own resistance point to creare an overlap

I would like to know is the *to* here necessary?

I reckon it is not. Please consider the following sentence: 'If you see it, eliminate it'. There is no need for the *to*.

Thank you

Is the *to* here necessary? If yes, please advice further.

Best wishes, Sam

I agree with Clive.

However, be advised there are other problems with the sentence. The mix of her/his is confusing to the reader and sounds like political correctness run amok.

BTW, you need subject/verb agreement in the first clause:

"If a negative settlement range exists"

Also, "negative settlement range" and "positive settle
