Application letter help please

Hi all, i'm a recent mechanical engineering graduate from Istanbul/ Turkey. I am going to apply for a job Czech Republic and I wrote an application letter to send by e-mail. It seems not good really, could you please do some comments for it? Thanks in advance, Firat.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate willing to pursue a career in Robotics field. The Robotics Engineer position that was advertised on Monster.com seems to fit well with my education background and career interests.

Since that I wish to pursue a career in Robotics field, in my last year at university I had the “Introduction to Robotics” course along with the other courses related with control/automation such as; Control Systems Design, Dynamic Systems Modeling & Simulation, Digital Control Systems Design, Computer Controlled Systems Design e.g. I believe that my Bachelor’s Degree from Istanbul Technical University Mechanical Eng. Dept., which is the best in Turkey in terms of Mechanical Engineering education, has provided me strong analytical skills, which would help me a lot to deal with complex engineering problems.

For the term project of Introduction to Robotics course, I had designed a three axis scara manipulator for coating a cylindrical workpiece with fiber chops. This was a complete design including the manipulator mechanical design with all components and the control system design including motors, sensors and control card selection (I can send you a Pdf copy if you request further information about this project).

Furthermore, working abroad is very interesting for me. I enjoy very much exploring new cultures where I had experienced this during my last internship I had in Sao Paulo/Brazil. There, I had worked in an international environment, which I believe this would help me a lot in adopting to the work environment in your firm.

Although I do not have a relevant work experience, I believe that with my strong desire in pursuing a career in Robotics field I will learn quickly and contribute to your firm in short time.
