Application form

Hi there
I have to fill out an application form and I need to provide evidence for having the following ability; communcation of statistical data and team-working skills. I would really appreciate if you could check this for spelling mistakes.

DISSEMINATION/ COMMUNICATION OF STATISTICAL OR COMPLEX TECHNICAL IDEAS

During the modules Research Methods, Advanced Research Methods and my dissertation I developed excellent report writing skills. This is evident in my excellent marks in Advanced Research Methods and in my dissertation where I received a First (78%).

I also developed excellent oral presentation skills during my degree. I conducted oral presentations on research articles in seminar groups, which involved conveying research findings in a clear and coherent manner while also adapting an enthusiastic approach.

During my studies at the mathematical line in Denmark I undertook modules such as mathematics, science and chemistry. During this course I conducted both written and oral presentations of complex theoretical principles. I received excellent marks in my exams e.g. in my oral mathematic exam (A-level) I received 10, which is equivalent to a First.

TEAM WORK
I have during my third year worked for the XXX as a Member Liaison Officer. Due to this work I have developed excellent communication and team working skills. I actively participated in XXX meetings, collaborated with other officers and communicated with students from various backgrounds on a daily basis. I created adverts to attract students for student rep positions and contacted universities across the UK. In close collaboration with the PR officer I sent out newsletters to student reps. I also worked closely with fellow students on my degree course to create and deliver academic presentations in seminars.

I was working voluntarily for the XXX where I befriending a young person with Asperger’s syndrome. In this role I also actively attended XXX meetings where all befrienders exchanged experiences and advice on how to deal with difficult situations.
