this is my motivation letter for a scholarship. i'm not a native English speaker and its also my first motivation letter. so please look through my letter and check for any grammar mistakes or anything that doesn't sound good in English i'll be thankful for all your comments. thank you very much .

VIBOT JOINT MASTER

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to join your master program “ERASMUS MUNDUS MASTER IN VISION AND
ROBOTICS” with specialization in “robotics, computer vision, image processing and medical
imaging” starting in September 2017. My career ambition is to become a doctor researching robotics.

In forward bias, the p-type is connected with the positive terminal and the n-type is connected with the
negative terminal, Although my ruminations did not provide immediate explanations, they spurred my
imagination and fueled my fascination for electronics.

Later on, I turned my attention toward semiconductors, which I explored during a simple DC power
supply project, by using an oscilloscope a type of electronics test instrument, I realize its possible to
observe the output of an physical circuit board rather than drawing the output on paper, and using such
a device for observation the signal on the lines or the voltage change over time is accurate for
development. Meanwhile I was working on my project start with only two silicon diodes and then I add
another two diodes for a Full Wave Rectifier. Although my contraption is not perfect, these variegated
episodes widened my perception of Electronics, its mission, and my role in the field. My experiences
also helped me to understand AC/DC.

With two years at a technical institute, I explored other distributions branches through the
logic gates and control ladder diagram but I didn’t have the opportunity to work on a real project till
my university graduation project, It was a programmable logic controller (PLC) an automation system
for liquid producer using sensors and motor the project main idea is mixing two different liquid on
production line. The project outer frame design which hold the project components was assigned to me, my
design assembly compelled me to identify new applications for my skills, I explored other control
capability throw development a slow motion of the motor to prevent drop the liquid out of the
production line These lessons sparked my curiosity for robotics and led to create a new design of circle
production line instead of direct line capable of delivering the liquid to specific point without any loss
of the liquid out of the project range. My experiences also helped me see that the essence of
engineering lies in serving social needs.

I will harness VIBOT to fulfill my purpose as student and citizen. My quest begins with an introduction to the fundamental of robotics to acquire basic concepts about robotics that are applicable to more advanced research initiatives, moreover lectures in “Autonomous robotics” unlock ways to improve my country outdated medical sources, opening new opportunities for other industries to grow with the new technology.

Because engineering does not exist in a vacuum, VIBOT will complement my work by helping me
understand the cultural, and ethical issues that drive scientific developments toward the solution of
different problems. Beyond the classroom, robotics projects merges theory with practice, transforming
abstraction into reality, in-depth exploration of various interests. Furthermore, internships and the
VIBOT Scholarship will expand my career choices and ease my transition into the workforce.
A VIBOT education integrates intellectual and personal lessons that will alleviate Egypt and the
world’s needs. With the creation of effective, affordable, and sustainable engineering solutions, I hope
to make a difference in the 21 st century.
