Apple fanboys

I don't fully understand the underlined part of the following sentence from CNN News.

(1) What does "fanboys" mean?

(2) Does it mean Jobs successfuly created a legions of fans as Apples' brand loyalists?

(3) Here, "godlike devotion", does it mean "steadfast loyality" to Apple products?

Observers marveled at Jobs' skills as a pitchman, his ability to inspire godlike devotion among Apple "fanboys" (and scorn from PC fans) and his "one more thing" surprise annoucements.
