I came up with the following sentence and I am not sure what appetite and every ill mean.I believe that marijuana should become legan because it  opens up the appetite for people who are every ill

1. It's LEGAL or LEGALISED, not LEGAN (there's no such word).
2. You can't "open up" an appetite. An appetite exists whether there's an opening for it or not. If someone is hungry for something (food, marijuana, whatever), he has an appetite. You can SATISFY or SATIATE that appetite (SATIATE is a 50 cent word, be warned :-).
I'm also not sure what EVERY ILL means. It could mean "everything that's bad for you", for example alcohol and cigarettes, which people still have an appetite for, but which is bad for them. Broadly speaking, an ILL can be anything that is BAD FOR a person, and alcohol and cigarettes definitely fall into that category.
I really don't know what point you're trying to make with that sentence. My best interpretation is something like "I believe Marijuana should be LEGALISED because it satisfies the appetite of people who CRAVE every ill".
CRAVE means DESIRE or WANT.
From a political or common-sense point of view, saying that Marijuana satisfies people's cravings (desires) is probably not a good argument in favour of legalisation. You're saying that people want it, so it should be legalised. Not a very strong argument politically.
But as I said, I'm not sure about the point of your sentence.

I think probably Sun94 is trying to say, "I believe marijuana should be legal because it improves the appetite of people who are very ill.

By the way, Sun94, if you "came up with" this sentence it means you created it, in which case you should probably know what the words mean.  Do you mean to say that you "came across" this sentence?  That means you found it somewhere.
