Apostrophes

What is the rule for using, or not using, an apostrophe in the following instance: The clinic added same-day services availability last week. Is an apostrophe necessary in the word services, or not?

Top answer

An apostrophe would only make it worse, but I would look for a simpler and less officialese-like way to say it, such as "The clinic introduced same-day services last week".
