Apostrophes

What is the correct way to pluralize abbreviated words such as: cds or cd's

The Chicago Manual of Style : "So far as it can be done without confusion, single or multiple letters, hyphenated coinages, and numbers used as nouns... " Among the examples are SOSs, CODs and IOUs.

cds is correct. ex - I have many CDs.

CD's shows ownership.
EX - The CD's liner notes were very comprehensive.
