Apostrophe usage

After "girls and boys groups" would there be an apostrophe after the girls and boys or no apostrophe at all????

I would avoid the problem by saying: grooups of boys and girls That makes the phrase much clearer.

I think you mean groups of girls and boys: There were groups of girls and boys in the park.
