Apostrophe before or after the ® symbol

Hi everyone

I'm checking a piece of technical writing that has: "AJAX COATINGS®’ products offer a range of
high-performance, heat-resistant coatings developed specifically to meet these challenges."

I think that the phrase could be adjectival, but their corporate dept. uses the apostrophe for other brands that do not carry a symbol so I will need to retain it.

I could change it to "AJAX COATINGS® offer a range of high-performance, heat-resistant coatings products developed specifically to meet these challenges."

But just for future reference, could I check whether the apostrophe should go before or after the ® symbol?

Many thanks

Hi Jack. The apostrophe must come after the registered trademark symbol, but it does look cluttered. You do not need it at all; you can use the noun as an adjective: AJAX COATINGS® products offer ....

I face this problem periodically in my writing as well and without fail, I re-write so that you don't need the possessive form.
