Is it teams' performance after a loss … or team's performance after a loss?

By the way—and I think this is a difference maker?—my goal is to talk about multiple teams here and their performance following a loss. Thank you.

Singular genitive, i.e. one team: This team's performance
Plural genitive, i.e. at least two teams: These teams' performances

You would need an article before team's / teams' in your examples.
