Apology to sir

Sir in the morning I hung up your call accidentally, as my phone fell out of my pocket and while picking it up the the decline button was pressed accidentally, I forgot to apologize then sorry.

Am I grammatically correct.

Could I have used "slip out" instead of "fall out".
