Apology letter for being tardy/late

Hi, i have a friend who's asking me to draft her a letter apologizing for being tardy as she received a memo yesterday asking her to explain the said matter. Pls. help me.... i need it ASAP. Many thanks.

We don't draft letters for people but if you or your friend would like to post your letter here we can comment on it. I would think she needs to explain the reasons why she has been late. If she doesn't have a good reason, hmmmm, problem.
