APOLOGY LETTER

Hi. My son just informed me that I (unintentionally) insulted his girlfriend. I want to send her an apology letter ASAP. How does this sound?

Dear Melanie,

Please allow me to apologize for what I said during our conversation during dessert on Thursday. My comment about pigs' ears was unintentionally inappropriate and insulting. I hope that you can forgive my hurtful words. In the future I will be more sensitive to our cultural differences.

You are welcome in our home any time, and I hope that you will visit again soon.

Fondly,

Mrs. Glickman
