QUOTE-> In Mel's own words: "Apocalypto ... just expresses so well [ what] I want to convey. I think it's just a universal word. In order for something to begin, something has to end." <-UNQUOTE
(1) Can "Apocalypto" be called a neologism? If it can't, what is the right term? (2) Which syllable is stressed in "Apocalypto"? (3) I understand there is the word "apocalypsis" in the Greek language. In English, its counterpart is "apocalypse" (afaik). I wonder if "apocalypsis" is ever/occasionally used for "apocalypse" in modern English? (4) I realize this is an English (not Greek :-) forum...anyway, could somebody please tell me which syllable is under stress in the original Greek word "apocalypsis"?
