Aphorisms - Career

Career

If you want to become somebody involuntarily you will have to stay in someone’s way.

You know, here you have to run very fast if you want to stay where you are, and twice as fast if you want to get somewhere.

If you fight for getting to the top, the hardest part is the bottom of the slope where you have to get through the rushing mob.

While climbing up be polite to them, because you’ll meet them when you are climbing down.

If you know someone, he can put you into a certain position, but only knowledge can keep you there.

If someone’s career is rising steep he can’t waste his time on his wife or friends. He needs all his time for his enemies.

The direction of real progress is forward and not upwards, because there is the trap of incompetence waiting for you.

There is lots of room on the top, but not so much time to sit down.

It’s not important what you know but who you know.

Sorry to say but i don't agree with you on this part,"If someone’s career is rising steep he can’t waste his time on his wife or friends. He needs all his time for his enemies.

I mean there is no such thing as wasting time on friends and wife coz they are the ones who always backup them to do good work and they are the best ones in life!!!!!!!
