Hi, Nonhuman creatures like ape cannot think even though they are able to speak human lanuage. Non-human creatures like apes cannot think, even though they are able to speak human language. This is now correct grammar, but I would say the meaning is incorrect, in both parts of the sentence.

Hi,

Nonhuman creatures like ape . . .

On the other hand, can one not disagree with this very first premise? Are we not apes, or descended from apes? Has anyone read the excellent The Third Chimpanzee : The Evolution and Future of the Human Animal by Jared Diamond?

Best wishes, Clive
