Apartment and Condo

I searched these two words on the Internet and also in this foum, and I got some useful information.

I just want to confirm whether what I got is correct.

I bought a condo. (Condo would be better, as I also bought the ownership of the apartment)

I live in an apartment that I rent. (Condo is not correct, as I don't have the ownership of the apartment)
