Anything or any idea to hold an open book

I often find I'm in situations where I read an open book but have to use my hands for other things, such as typing. So I'm looking for a way to hold the pages open without my hands. Do you have an idea?

Book holders are available for that very purpose. I'd like one myself, but have yet to find a non-flimsy one.

You live in County Mayo, man. You're never more than an arm's reach from a rock. Grab two and put one on each top corner.

Depending on the thickness of the book, a pair of clothespins might do the trick, or a couple of chip-clips, available at the grocery store.
