Anyone understand this, clear up if possible

I read this, but I don't understand, do you?

This video game is a summary of all 3 movies: Harry Potter 1, Harry Potter 2 and Harry Potter 3. There is no way the producers of the game were able to every last detail in the video game. That's why, as a person playing the video game you ask yourself "Is this exactly how to movie goes plays out." The producers did the best they could to similarize the movies and the game to make the two as similar as they could be.

There a several words missing, and it appears as if the quotation was translated by a machine. I don't fully understand the paragraph either.

That's a good paragraph!
I'd say: ...they did the best the could to blend (mix, meld, combine, fuse) the video with the movies and produce a final product as faithful to both as possible...

Is this grammatical
...make the two as similar as they could be.

or do I have to use "as possible"

...make the two as similar as possible.
