Anyone can make a film

Films were produced by big companies in the past, but today people are able make a film. Do you think this trend is positive or negative?

Apparently, more and more amateurs get into producing movies themselves which is far more different from many years ago when big organizations could afford to do that. From my perspective, I would argue that this trend is advantageous due to some benefits.

Obviously, one drawback of this is that home-made films are not ensured about their qualities and contents, so they probably just give people a little comfort and satisfaction. For example, I know some Vietnamese youngsters actively make films on their own and then post them on the Internet. However, because of their lack of experience and knowledge, they are completely ignorant about how to remove cacophony and add stunning effects. Accordingly, their videos literally did not attract me to continue discovering the ends at all. Furthermore, producing films requires several special devices such as smartphones and cameras. Therefore, should the poor start doing this, it will be a challenge for them.

Nonetheless, as for me, this trend positively helps people a lot. Firstly, it will be a golden chance for individuals whose dream is to become an actor, actress or film director, since they can read the public’s feedback on the films next time. Thus, those amateurs will possibly gain a range of skills and be able to make their dream come true. Secondly, everyone can effortlessly have a wonderful financial status from this step. To illustrate, teenagers related to Fap tv which is a well-known Vietnamese channel for comedy in Youtube can earn lots of money basing on the high views. Thus, people, even children, are able to make money provided their clips are appealing. Finally, this trends contributes to the variety of choices for movies. In the past, there were fewer genres which brought boredom to people but now, with a wide range of videos from amateurs, residents can have more choices for kinds of films, plots and content.

Summing up, however harmful producing movies is, I still insist on the usefulness of it, in terms of finance, the diversity in films and people’s dream about acting and filming.
