Anymore vs any more

Hi

Would you say writing "anymore" as one word is completely wrong?

Here in the United States, most usage experts advise using "anymore" as as adverb that modifies a verb: "I don't read newspapers anymore." In "No, thanks. I don't want any more," you have an adjective modifying a noun. In "I don't want any more coffee, " you have an adverb modifying an adjective that is modifying a noun. Sincerely, James
