Anyhow/Somehow

I always face the problem when to use somehow and when to use anyhow...can anyone help me out please.

Somehow, the children were switched in the hospital. (we don't know how)

As per my understanding 'anyhow' = 'anyway' and 'somehow' = 'someway'

Ex:
Anyhow I have to complete the project.
Somehow I have to complete the project.

May be both are same.
