Anybody help me with my motivation letter, thanks a lot in advance.

hi, I recently got my bachelor degree form my university and now I am applying a master program of a school inEurope.

I am not a english native speaker so I got some difficulties when I was writing my application materials.

I have just finished a motivation letter. But I am not sure whether it meets a basic requirment.

Is there anybody can help me with my motivation letter, thanks a lot.

Some tips were given on the school website to help each applicant finish their materials.

The follow contents was my motivation letter written by my own, some information was hidden to avoid unnecessary troubles.



Dear Sir/Madam,

I graduated from Z University with my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation in summer of 2011. I would like to apply for the Mechanical engineering Master's degree program in T, which starts in the autumn of 2012. I first heard about this program one year ago from a meeting hold by Office of International Relations,Z

University. Dr. K, Director of International Office was present at the meeting and introduced a lot of useful information about the program to us. That was very impressive to me. More information is provided by internet and some schoolmates who have already started their study in T. They value highly the content of the program, the range of choices, the quality of the teaching, the level of the graduates and the department's modern research facilities. An old Chinese saying indicates, "Eyes of the trivial, seeing is believing". Moreover, the research field fits in well with what I was doing at Z University. When I was very young, I was always fascinated by those interesting toys, such as model cars, building blocks, model robots etc. After my high school, I pursued my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation. I do like my major and I took part in lots of competitions and activities which are related to my specialty. Each time I was very exciting when a work was finished. That was an amazing feeling when you were watching your works moving. But I know the world of Engineering and Technology changes so rapidly, what I have learned is far form enough to enable me to be a successful engineer. So I want to attain the higher level of education and have an understanding of the latest technological developments. I think this program is an excellent choice for me.

The E region in which The T University is located is the technological heart of the N. T works closely with many high-tech companies, such as P, D , A, etc. This means the students of T have lots of opportunities to come into contact with those high-tech companies. I think it is a good preparation for my careers and those international companies are also perfect launching pad for careers.

I learned from the Brochure of Master Program of Mechanical Engineering that there are five graduation tracks and each student could choose one of them according to his/her wishes and preferences. I think I prefer the track of Automotive Engineering Science and this fit the most with my career plans. The headquarters and main plant of D are in E. Becoming a qualified engineer and getting a position in D is a start of my career plan.China is becoming the largest truck market in the world and it means plenty of opportunities to trucks manufacturers all around the world. I think the second part of my career should be in china. With international education and work backgrounds, I believe I am capable to play a important role in the market.

Four years of academic study in Z Universitylay a solid foundation for my professional knowledge. Internships and extracurricular activities help me to improve my communication ability and leadership in practice. Based on my academic knowledge and experience, I consider myself to be a good candidate for this program. Beyond that I am a young, energetic, hardworking, visionary, and motivated person. With a good learning and adapting Ability, I believe I can get into state rapidly. I'm well aware this is just a beginning and I have a long way to go. I think I am fully prepared for it. Lastly, I would be very proud and happy if I received the admission for this program. It is really an honor if I could start my new journey from T.
